Issue of quality and safety
The purpose of evaluating the three aspects of health care (structure, process and outcome) is to assess the quality and effectiveness of a health care system. Structure refers to the physical layout and organization of the health care setting; process involves analyzing how services are delivered; and outcomes refer to assessing whether desired results have been achieved. Evaluating these three aspects typically involves collecting data, reviewing documents or records, interviewing stakeholders, analyzing trends or patterns in data, and conducting surveys or focus groups. The goal is to identify areas for improvement that can help ensure high-quality patient outcomes.
