This curriculum provides a solid foundation to my knowledge of the role and responsibilities of nurse leaders in interacting with patients to provide evidence-based healthcare practices. It is crucial for leaders and supervisors to create leadership models that align with their organization’s needs, as well as the patient’s. The module provides a structure and outlines how individuals should behave.
In order to successfully implement a change plan procedure, it is important that both academic researchers and healthcare professionals are involved in the process. These lessons have helped me to improve my knowledge about how to create change in health care organisations with the least amount of pushback from nurses. This lesson will be an invaluable asset in my career as a nurse leader.
