When intervening on behalf of children, social workers must perform three important tasks: advocacy, case management and policy development (Segal, et al. 2019, 2019). In analyzing criminal factors that threaten the survival of families or children, social workers involve families and children as well as other criminal justice practitioners. Social workers might collaborate with law enforcement in order to catch domestic abusers. Additionally, social workers might offer counselling services for children and their families to assist them in overcoming obstacles. To ensure the safety of children and families, it is necessary to work with politicians. Social workers may encourage government to take measures to reduce the economic impact of Covid-19. They may also design laws to prevent and regulate gun violence. Advocacy is the process of educating people about sustainable methods.
