The area of development is multidisciplinary and has attracted the attention of many specialists. Governance can be described as a multidisciplinary topic because it examines the social structure, gender orientation and international relations. In many ways, developed and developing states are distinguished by international societies and organisations. The differences in GDP per capita and national GDP are the first. The countries with higher GDPs than those in developing nations are the developed ones. Ghana’s GDP is lower than Vietnam with a per-capita income of only $3,700. (World Bank, 2022b).
Low-income countries tend to have high levels of poverty, meaning that most people live below or at the poverty line. In order to survive, economic instability can limit the population’s ability to make ends meet. A greater proportion of people are exposed to poverty due to changes in their macroenvironmental environment. Ghana saw 25.5% increase in poverty rates between 2000 and 2020. Even more, the Covid-19 plague stalled development. Because people are more economically able to access the necessary resources for a decent life, the poverty rate in developed countries is significantly lower than that of developing nations. Vietnam’s poverty rate dropped from 32% down to below 2% in 2002, and then fell further between 2021 and 221. (World Bank, 2022b). No matter what macroenvironmental conditions, the developed countries have many structural strategies and policies that can increase stability. For example, Ghana failed to improve its economic stability in 2021 and 2021 due to Covid-19. However, industrialized nations like Vietnam adopted methods that increase their resilience. Vietnam is one of few countries whose GDP grew in 2020 despite spreading the Covid-19 disease (World Bank, 2022b).
Vietnam is an excellent example of a country that has evolved from being the least developed nation to becoming the most advanced. Effective governance is an essential component of the development transition. Governance is a key factor in determining a country’s socio-economic structure, gender orientation and economic leadership. Vietnam adopted a democracy that gave individuals greater freedom to express themselves and reach their full potential (World Bank 2022a). In Vietnam, virtue has triumphed over evil and has created a stable political atmosphere that encourages more domestic and foreign companies to invest.
