These psychological tests help people and caregivers understand individual behavior and to compare it. Caretakers use different testing and assessment methods to assess psychological traits. Minnesota Multiphasic Personality Inventory 2 (MMPI-2), is the first health test that examines psychological issues (Giromini et. al., 2019,). The psychometric test was used to assess psychopathology-characterized mental health conditions. It includes 576 questions with true/false answers that evaluate 10 different psychiatric domains including depression, hysteria and hypomania as well as paranoia (Giromini et.al., 2019). The MMPI-2 has three subscales, which assess inconsistency and defensiveness.
Beck Anxiety Inventory is a self-report tool that assesses anxiety intensity. It can also be used for psychological analysis (Garcia and al., 2002). Caretakers use the inventory to assess whether the patient is in the normal range of symptoms, severe, disabled, or moderate. The instrument can evaluate several psychological constructs because it incorporates approximately twenty-one symptoms of anxiety. Responders must identify the severity levels of each anxiety symptoms, ranging from one to three (Oh et. al. 2018). The instrument can assess the following anxiety symptoms: hot/cold sweats; death phobia; and shaking hands.
Beck Depression Inventory (Jackson-Koku 2016, 2016) is the final instrument that can be used to examine psychological dimensions. It consists of 21 items which help caregivers and patients to assess if they have a normal or abnormal symptom spectrum. Participant can complete the questionnaire by identifying their dominant emotional state (von Glischinski and co., 2019,). To create an effective therapeutic plan, the three states could be used to conduct a thorough examination of your mental health.
