Discussion question #2 ******for kim woods only ******
If I were the CEO of this hospital, I would address the problem in my strategic planning process by first identifying and analyzing the needs of our stakeholders. This includes assessing factors such as patient needs, changes in the healthcare industry, and physician or staff satisfaction levels. With this information gathered, it is essential to develop a plan that will prioritize these needs while accounting for potential risks or limitations associated with implementing strategies to meet them. This could include creating new initiatives or programs meant to provide quality care while still remaining financially feasible within budget constraints.
Additionally, it is important to review current policies that are in place and determine if they are sufficient at meeting organizational goals. If not, then considerations should be taken towards revising those policies so that performance objectives can be met more efficiently and effectively. Furthermore communication should be established between all members involved from both inside and outside the organization including leadership across various departments such as finance or marketing amongst others who may have insight into how funds can be used optimally for improvements based on their respective department’s resources/expertise.
Finally once a plan has been developed it is imperative to ensure proper implementation through careful oversight by leaders throughout different stages of its progress along with periodic assessments conducted afterwards measuring its success relative to predetermined benchmarks outlined during initial planning phase which allows leadership an opportunity adjust accordingly if needed before entering next cycle starting again anew with another strategic planning session ahead waiting at corner before long journey ends here today.
