Yes, my project idea consists of both breadth and depth of knowledge within a defined area. Specifically, the project is focused on researching the impact of health policy on nursing practice in the United States. The research will involve looking at current policies that affect nursing practice and analyzing how those policies have impacted nurse practitioner roles, patient care outcomes, quality of healthcare services provided to patients, and access to care. Additionally, I plan to explore ways in which nursing can advocate for changes in health policy that would have positive impacts on their profession and patient care. Thus, my project will demonstrate an understanding of both the broad implications as well as nuances related to this important topic.
