- Identify variables: In quantitative research, variables are important components. Identify the independent and dependent variables and other control variables that were used in the study.
- Check for data accuracy: Verify if the data collected was accurate and reliable. Also, check if the data collected was consistent with the research question.
- Analyze the Results: Analyze the results section to understand the statistical analysis performed. Check for statistical significance and effect size.
- Interpret the findings: Interpret the findings section to see if the research questions were answered. Identify the key findings and whether the results align with the study’s objectives.
- Critique the study: Finally, evaluate the study’s strengths and limitations. Identify any potential sources of bias or limitations that might affect the results.
