Create a presentation using any form of presentation software (e.g., PowerPoint®, Prezi™, Powtoons™, Slidedog™, and so on). Your presentation should bring together the conceptual framework, model and theory that best fits your concept of advanced practice nursing related to your role after graduation.

Title Slide:

• Title of the presentation
• Name of the student

Introduction Slide:

• Brief information about you and your program track
• Purpose of the presentation

Conceptual Slides:

• Introduction to the selected conceptual framework
• Explanation of why you chose the framework
• How you plan to apply the framework in practice

Model Slides:

• Introduction to the selected model
• Specific characteristics of the model
• At least one citation that identifies where the model came from
• Explanation of why you chose the model
• How you plan to apply the model in practice

Theory Slides:

• Introduction to the selected theory
• Explanation of why you chose the theory
• Key concepts of the theory and its past research
• How you plan to use the theory in practice as an advanced practice nurse

Graphical Slide:

• Visual representation of how the conceptual framework, model, and theory fit together

Conclusion Slide:

• A judgment about what you presented
• A positive note about the future

Reference Slide:

• List of supporting citations

Remember that your presentation should contain uncluttered slides with bullet points that number no more than four to six per slide. The bullet point should contain key words, and you should explain in depth what each bullet point means in the audio portion of the presentation. Your background and font colors should be of sufficient contrast to make reading them easy on the eyes, and attention to colors should be paid so that a person who is colorblind can easily read the presentation.

Ensure that you include supporting citations for your slides where appropriate, and that you format your organization, documentation, and references according to APA 6th edition guidelines. Lastly, aim for a total slide count that does not exceed 15 slides, not including the reference slide(s) or title slide.
