Nursing is more than a job; it is a rewarding and meaningful career. To me, nursing is not just about providing medical care but also providing comfort, support and guidance to patients who are struggling with health issues. I believe that nurses have the power to make a significant difference in people’s lives.

My professional goals related to nursing are multi-faceted. On one hand, I strive to provide high-quality patient care by staying up-to-date on current best practices, using evidence-based approaches wherever possible, and taking an individualized approach to each patient encounter. On the other hand, I seek to become an effective leader in the field of healthcare by expanding my knowledge base and gaining experience through research projects or teaching opportunities. By advocating for healthcare policies that ensure access for all individuals regardless of their socio-economic background or identity, I hope to create positive change within my practice setting and beyond.

Finally, as someone committed to lifelong learning, I am interested in pursuing advanced degrees that will equip me with extra skills needed for administrative roles such as nurse educator or researcher. With these qualifications under my belt as well as strengthening my communication skills further so I can effectively advocate for better healthcare resources both locally and nationally —I will be able to continue making a difference in people’s lives through nursing throughout my entire career journey.
