Assignment 3: final project: options paper
The first step is for stakeholders to identify all relevant criteria that should be considered when comparing potential options. Once these have been identified, each criterion should then be assigned a weight based on its importance relative to other criteria. This can be done through surveys or careful consideration by stakeholders themselves. After this has been completed, each option should then receive a score based on how it measures up against these weighted criteria. Finally, these scores can be compared across all options and ranked accordingly from highest to lowest.
By using an objective method such as MCA throughout this evaluation process it ensures that all parties are being heard while also allowing for efficient decision making regarding which option(s) are best suited for addressing any given situation at hand. Ultimately, this allows stakeholders within an organization or group setting to come together more quickly in order resolve conflicts while still considering all relevant perspectives prior to making any final decisions.
