To locate evidence-based practices that address a certain health concern, I first conducted an online search using relevant keywords such as ‘health information technology’ and ‘evidence-based practices’. This allowed me to explore a variety of sources which included websites, journals, databases etc. where research on this topic might be found.

In addition to this I also consulted with colleagues for their opinions and experiences regarding the use of health information technology for locating evidence-based practices. This enabled me to gain valuable insights into newer developments in the field while also helping identify potential resources which could provide valuable information relating to my inquiry.

Finally I used various tools such as bibliographic databases and specific search engines so that material related to my research could be accessed quickly and efficiently without having to go through individual results manually. By combining all these approaches I was able to locate key evidence-based practices addressing my concern thus furthering my understanding of how best to utilize available resources when researching a given topic.
