Conducting a practice interview on my own with the help of prepared flashcards proved to be an effective way for me to prepare for upcoming interviews. Before beginning, I organized my flashcards into topics such as ‘educational background’, ‘work experience’ and ‘career goals/ambitions’ so that it was easier to stay on track when speaking. Additionally, this also helps prevent any repetition of questions which can lead to confusion or misunderstanding during the actual interview.

I then proceeded by taking turns asking and answering each question while recording myself with my phone in order to gain insight into how I present myself verbally.
