The ethical theories called relativism and situation ethics seem to be rampant in our society today many times overwhelming people with who have a well-developed sense of conscience. Do you agree or disagree with the above statement and why?

I partially agree with the above statement. I believe that relativism and situation ethics have become increasingly prevalent in our society, particularly when it comes to making decisions regarding complex moral issues. This has led to a situation where people with well-developed consciences are often overwhelmed by the multitude of options available to them which can make decision-making difficult. However, this does not mean that these ethical theories should be discarded as they can provide useful perspectives on certain situations – allowing individuals to gain insights into how other people may approach similar dilemmas. Ultimately, having a strong sense of conscience is still important for making ethical choices but understanding how different theories might impact one’s opinion is equally essential for creating responsible solutions.
