2. Referral Letters from Other Healthcare Providers: These are sent by healthcare providers, such as specialists and other practices, in order to provide updates on care received elsewhere or request approval from the primary care physician before moving forward with treatment.
3. Medication Orders: These mails usually come directly from pharmacies and contain orders for prescribed medications that need to be filled in order for a patient’s treatment plan to be completed successfully.
4. Package Deliveries of Medical Supplies: This type of mail is typically delivered by third-party vendors and contains medical equipment, lab supplies, office furniture and other items necessary for proper operation within a healthcare setting.
