Briefly describe the process you used to answer the question. i.e. how you formulated a searchable question and developed a search strategy.

In order to answer this question, I first formulated a searchable question based on the information provided. My initial question was “What is the appropriate diagnostic workup for a patient with fever, malaise, chest pain and shortness of breath?”. Then I developed a search strategy using keywords such as ‘diagnostic workup’, ‘fever’, ‘chest pain’ and ‘shortness of breath’ in order to find related articles from academic journals and other sources. After conducting my search, I read through several relevant articles and synthesized their content into my own response. Additionally, I consulted a few textbooks that addressed possible differential diagnoses for these symptoms in order to further inform my answer. To ensure accuracy of information presented in the response I also cross-referenced facts from multiple sources whenever possible.
