Week 4 course project: part 4 – goal analysis | Speech 277 | Chamberlain College of Nursing
In order for me to say that a person has achieved their goal, they must be exhibiting behavior that aligns with what was initially set out in the goal. This means that they should be verbally affirming their success or making statements of accomplishment, as well as taking part in physical actions associated with the goal such as completing tasks. Additionally, after achieving their objective, the individual should also demonstrate a sense of satisfaction and fulfillment which will help solidify that they have indeed accomplished what they set out to do.
It is also important to consider any potential obstacles or challenges related to the goal which could make it difficult for the individual to achieve. If these issues can be identified early on then helpful strategies can be implemented early on so they are better prepared when it comes time to meet their objectives. Even if unexpected barriers arise during their journey towards reaching their goals, having already acquired some problem-solving skills beforehand will help them stay focused and motivated until completion is attained.
