This population is at risk of experiencing poorer health outcomes due to factors such as limited access to healthcare, social isolation, lack of transportation, and inadequate housing.

As a geriatric nurse practitioner, my particular specialty can contribute to health promotion and disease prevention for the elderly population in several ways.
