What do you think about the current image of nursing? What factors facilitate professional role development in Nursing?

I think the current image of nursing is largely positive and I am proud to be a part of this profession. Nurses are dedicated people who are devoted to providing compassionate care for those in need and helping to promote better health outcomes for all individuals affected by high-quality services. Additionally, nurses have a unique set of skills that allow us to address complex problems while working in both clinical and non-clinical contexts which gives us an edge when tackling various healthcare issues.

Several factors facilitate the development of professional roles in nursing such as continuing education opportunities which provide nurses with access to up-to-date knowledge on evidence-based practices. Furthermore, networking plays an important role since it allows nurses to collaborate with their peers in order to exchange best practices or share new ideas about how our profession can continue evolving. Finally, increased visibility through social media platforms has been instrumental in allowing more people outside the field understand what it means to be a nurse and why we do what we do—which has served as confirmation that nurses really do make a difference.
