Describe what you learned in this assignment and how you incorporated that knowledge into your social media page.

In this assignment I learned about the importance of using social media to promote my work as a Nurse Practitioner and how to effectively engage with my followers. For example, I created content and designed visuals that were informative yet intriguing in order to capture the attention of potential followers. Additionally, I incorporated various relevant hashtags that allowed me to expand my reach and join conversations related to topics such as healthcare policy or patient advocacy.

I also gained insight into how important it is to establish relationships on social media by engaging with others through comments and messages while also being mindful not to bombard them with promotions or solicitations. Moreover, I discovered the value of creating quality content that conveys both thoughtfulness and professionalism which can lead potential patients or colleagues to take me more seriously. This knowledge was then applied when creating posts for my page by keeping all of these factors in mind whenever crafting new material so that each post is impactful yet respectful towards those who follow me.
