Reflecting on the objectives and readings of this course, I have learned that research is an essential part of any field. Research can be used to understand phenomena, develop a deeper understanding of topics and discover new insights. It can also be used to create evidence-based policies and practices, develop new strategies or theories, or evaluate existing ones.

From my perspective, research will become increasingly important as we seek to understand the world around us better. As our knowledge base grows in complexity, so too will our need for research in order to stay informed about current developments and uncover new information that may have previously been unknown. Additionally, research can provide insight into how best to address global challenges such as climate change or poverty in developing nations.

I plan on utilizing research throughout my studies as well as my professional career. As someone who is passionate about public health and medicine I believe it’s essential for me to stay up-to-date with the most recent findings related to these areas so I can make informed decisions when working with patients or advocating for policy reform.

Overall, having a greater understanding of how science works has provided me with confidence when conducting both academic and applied research tasks which will help me become more successful in future endeavors.
