In my opinion, whether a parent’s decision to decline vaccination for their child constitutes a lack of social responsibility depends on the circumstances surrounding their decision. For example, if parents are well-informed about potential risks & benefits then making an informed choice is perfectly reasonable as it allows them to make decisions based off individual needs or beliefs rather than simply following what others might be doing.

However, if they decide against vaccinating due to misinformation or fear that could have been avoided by researching reliable sources then this could be seen as irresponsible as there is evidence which suggests vaccinations are necessary in order prevent outbreaks from occurring. All together these examples demonstrate how each situation should be treated differently depending on context while also recognizing different opinions so that informed decisions can be made leading towards better health outcomes overall.
