Such entities are typically characterized by their innovative technologies/products as well as experienced management teams which allows the firm to assess possible risks associated with each one before committing any funds.

In terms of risk appetite, while they do tend to focus more on high reward opportunities, they will also consider those that have lower returns but still maintain certain qualities such as scalability and sustainability etc., so as to ensure maximum returns in the future. Furthermore the team is also willing to invest in industries that may be considered too risky or volatile for other investors provided that sufficient due diligence has been conducted ahead of time.
