What motivates you to become or stay healthy? | Nursing
The concept of health and wellness is subjective, and individuals perceive it differently. While some define health as the absence of illness or disease, others view it as a holistic state of well-being that encompasses physical, emotional, social, and spiritual aspects. Personally, I believe that I am a healthy person because I engage in regular physical activity, eat a balanced diet, and prioritize self-care practices. My motivation to maintain good health comes from the desire to feel good physically, mentally, and emotionally. Additionally, I recognize that maintaining good health reduces my risk of chronic illnesses and improves my quality of life. For those who do not consider themselves healthy, finding the motivation to become so can be challenging. However, setting realistic goals, finding a support system, and recognizing the benefits of a healthy lifestyle can be motivating factors. Ultimately, taking steps towards better health can improve an individual’s overall well-being and quality of life.
