When faced with a difficult decision, it is important to take an organized and systematic approach to ensure that all relevant information is taken into account prior to making any final decisions. In this case, I would use the five-step problem solving and decision making model which consists of (1) defining the problem; (2) gathering data/information; (3) analyzing the situation; (4) creating solutions; and finally (5) implementing a plan.
First of all, I would define the problem by considering what type of issue this is as well as what my goals are in relation to it. From there, I would then gather relevant data such as examining current trends or reviewing any historical records related to this matter so that I can better understand my options.
Afterwards, I will analyze each potential solution in order to determine which one best fits my needs – weighing pros/cons for each alternative while also taking into account possible risks associated if a particular course of action was taken. Once done with that part it will be time for me to come up with various ideas around how best handle this dilemma followed by selecting one overall strategy that works best given all parameters involved.
Lastly, once selected option has been agreed upon implementation phase begins where necessary steps must be taken in order execute our plan successfully. Through careful consideration throughout this entire process we should arrive at logical conclusion on how best handle whatever challenge we may face leading us down path towards success.
