Tools for project management in health services organizations
As a current or future health care administrator, I would use the Gantt chart and budget that I created to assess the project in the scenario presented by looking at both short-term and long-term goals. The Gantt chart allows me to visualize how tasks are planned out over time which can help me better understand any potential bottlenecks within the project timeline. Additionally, it also provides an overview of resource allocation so that I can quickly identify areas where additional investments may be needed.
The budget on the other hand gives me insight into what monetary resources are required for each task – thereby allowing for better financial planning as well. Furthermore, by comparing actual expenses against projections made during early stages of project development one can easily determine if costs are being managed efficiently or not.
Ultimately then, by leveraging these two tools together I am able to get a much clearer picture of what is actually happening with regards to given initiative – thus enabling make more accurate assessments along way
