It can be used by both patients and healthcare providers, allowing for greater accessibility when it comes to accessing care. Benefits of using this technology include improved communication between patient and provider, reduced costs associated with in-person visits and increased convenience since treatments can now be done from the comfort of one’s own home.

Telemedicine has also been shown to be particularly helpful when dealing with chronic conditions that require regular follow-ups as well as providing timely care in emergency situations where time is limited.
