I am currently subscribed to a couple of trade journals such as The Wall Street Journal and Financial Times which offer valuable insights into the current state of the markets & potential points of focus when making investment decisions. Additionally, I have also attended multiple professional conferences/workshops over the years related to various aspects within finance (i.e. portfolio management & risk management).

One particular skill I acquired through these experiences was the ability to analyze market data & spot trends that may otherwise go unnoticed or be underestimated in importance. This has proved especially useful when it comes to assessing risk/returns associated with investments given that any changes within markets can potentially impact overall returns on an individual basis.

In conclusion, attending professional conferences/workshops alongside reading trade journals are both great ways for financial professionals like myself to stay up-to-date with market movements whilst also acquiring new skills that can be utilized on a daily basis. For instance, my ability to interpret market data & identify trends has enabled me better manage risks & maximize returns whenever possible thus increasing chances for successful outcomes in the long run.
