Data Source 1: National Health and Nutrition Examination Survey (NHANES)

- Use in Report: Provides data on health status, health behaviors, and risk factors for chronic diseases.
Data Source 2: Healthcare Cost and Utilization Project (HCUP)
- Data Type: Administrative data
- Description: A family of databases, software tools, and related products developed through a federal-state-industry partnership for the purpose of analyzing health care utilization and costs.
- Use in Report: Provides data on hospitalizations, emergency department visits, and ambulatory surgery visits.
Data Source 3: Medicare Current Beneficiary Survey (MCBS)
- Data Type: Survey data
- Description: A continuous, multipurpose survey of a nationally representative sample of the Medicare population. It collects information on health status, health care use, and expenditures.
