GTPAL stands for Gravida, Term, Preterm, Abortions, Living, and is a system used to record a woman’s pregnancy history.

- G: 6 T: 2 P: 1 A: 1 L: 3
- G: 2 T: 1 P: 0 A: 1 L: 1
For each case, the Gravida (number of pregnancies), Term (number of pregnancies delivered at 37 or more weeks), Preterm (number of pregnancies delivered between 20 and 36 and 6/7 weeks), Abortions (number of pregnancies lost before 20 weeks), and Living (number of children currently living) are recorded. In case 7, the ectopic pregnancy is not included in the GTPAL calculation because it was not a viable intrauterine pregnancy.
