Nr 505 week 6 discussion post 1 & 2
The Line-of-Business model works with multiple independent teams working towards different goals within the same organization. This setup offers an increased level of flexibility compared to its centralized counterpart—allowing each department to develop their own strategies while still operating under the same umbrella company. It also provides more autonomy so that decisions can be made quickly without waiting on approvals from higher ups.
Both models have distinct advantages depending on one’s individual needs. For example, if an organization requires a higher degree of oversight then the Hub & Spoke model may provide better results than its decentralized counterpart—but if speed is of utmost importance then using a Line-of-Business setup might offer more benefits due to its ability to act independently without needing approval from outside sources. Ultimately, it’s up to each business leader to choose which option best fits their particular requirements and objectives
