Module 5 assignment 2: discussion
This hypothesis is an appropriate starting point for testing because it captures all possible outcomes including those where both locations produce products with equal quality, one location produces higher-quality products than the other, or there is no significant difference at all between them. Furthermore, this type of test can provide valuable insight into how different locations factor into a company’s overall performance which can then be used to make informed decisions regarding production processes or cost allocations.
Moreover, this hypothesis also allows us to determine if any discrepancies are due solely to environmental factors such as cultural differences or regulation variances rather than actual manufacturing issues since these could lead to additional complications when attempting to implement changes across multiple sites simultaneously. By utilizing a null hypothesis we are able to explore potential causes of variations and thus create more effective solutions for addressing them down the line.
