Capstone project change proposal plan
1. Lack of Sufficient Resources: Implementing and sustaining an EBP change proposal requires resources such as personnel, time, and materials. Without sufficient financial or material resources, it may become increasingly difficult to maintain the desired results over time. Additionally, if there are not enough personnel to remain dedicated to the project over time, there may be a lack of consistency in implementation leading to decreased efficacy of the solution.
2. Administrative Changes: As administrators come and go due to retirement or other reasons, so too can the commitment to certain projects diminish or become less passionate with each new administrator who takes their place. Additionally, changes in administrative roles can lead to a shift in priorities that could further minimize support for an EBP change proposal that was initially successful but lacks continued investment from those in charge. Furthermore, as politics within organizations evolve and stakeholders’ needs also change over time, it is possible for an EBP change proposal that once worked well to no longer be viewed favorably resulting in less buy-in and long-term commitment by all involved stakeholders.
