The point-by-point method can be used to compare and contrast the two topics in my selection: online classes versus traditional classes. In this type of essay, each point of comparison or contrast is discussed separately for both topics.

To begin with, one difference between online and traditional classes is the amount of flexibility they offer. Online courses are more flexible than traditional ones because they allow students to set their own schedule and pace themselves while studying. This allows them to attend courses at any time from anywhere in the world as long as there is an internet connection available. Traditional classes on the other hand require students to travel to a physical location at designated times for lectures and exams – giving them less flexibility when it comes to studying times and locations.
