Deliverable 2 – using visuals to enhance viewer perception
Analyzing and interpreting perceptual elements of visual media communication involves looking at the message from the audience’s perspective in order to identify what factors make it more effective. This includes examining how viewers perceive different elements such as color, shape, size, and placement of visuals within a composition. Through this process, one can determine which aspects should be used or emphasized to create a successful visual message that resonates with its audience. Additionally, analyzing and interpreting perceptual elements also involves considering how context affects perception; for example, certain images or symbols may have different connotations depending on the cultural background or social setting in which they are viewed.
