As a supervisory and hiring authority for the organization, I would have been instrumental in helping it avoid legal actions by adhering to relevant laws and regulations. This includes ensuring that proper background checks are conducted on all potential employees, implementing anti-discrimination policies and measures, providing fair wages and benefits packages, accommodating employees with disabilities or special needs, properly handling sexual harassment complaints, following up promptly on any employee grievances or concerns, and having clear written policies regarding workplace safety. Additionally, I would strive to foster an environment of inclusion where everyone feels respected regardless of their race, gender identity/expression, religion, age or other protected classifications. By taking proactive steps to prevent discrimination and create a positive work atmosphere within the organization I believe we can reduce our risk of facing legal action.
