Final project week 5: relationships and financial performance
The relationship between a company and their employees and investors is one of mutual benefit. Companies rely on their employees to provide the labor necessary to create, promote, and sell products or services. In return for their contributions, employees expect fair wages and benefits in addition to job security, opportunities for advancement, and other forms of recognition. Similarly, companies rely on investors to provide capital which enables them to grow and expand operations. In return for this investment, investors seek returns through dividends or share price appreciation as well as communications from the company regarding strategy updates and performance metrics. Both employees and investors play an integral role in the success of any given business.
