Mgt 230 internal and external factors paper
Internal factors that affect the four functions of management include the organization’s culture, values, and mission; its organizational structure; employee skills and abilities; resources available to the company (including budget); and technology. External factors include economic conditions, legal requirements, political influences, competition in the marketplace, consumer trends and preferences, and technological advances. Both internal and external factors can influence how a manager approaches planning, organizing, leading, and controlling activities within an organization.
