Hlt 362v week 4 discussion question 1 & 2
An interaction is a situation in which two or more variables interact to produce an effect on a third variable. For example, in the study of communication between couples, one might look at the degree of closeness and conflict in a relationship as well as how they may be impacted by gender roles within the family. The variables would then be closeness, conflict and gender roles; an expected interaction could arise when looking at marital satisfaction based on these three variables.
