One ethical dilemma I encountered was when a coworker asked me to do their job in addition to my own while they were away on vacation. As the two of us were the same positions and had similar responsibilities, it would have been unfair for one person to carry both roles while being compensated at the same rate. After discussing it with our supervisor and manager, we decided that I would cover some tasks, but also receive additional compensation for my extra effort as well as overtime hours worked. This resolution ensured fairness among all parties involved.
