Bus499: assignment 3: business-level and corporate-level strategies

The corporate-level strategy that I believe is most important to the long-term success of my chosen company is diversification. The company has multiple different business units, each focusing on a different aspect and offering different products or services. Diversifying their portfolio across these business units allows them to mitigate risks associated with relying too heavily on one particular sector or product line and gives them access to multiple potential sources of growth. Additionally, this approach allows the firm to better protect its assets from external factors such as economic downturns, while still allowing it to benefit from the performance of its more successful individual businesses.
