The difference between culture and climate is that culture refers to the shared values and beliefs within an organization while climate focuses more on the daily experiences of its employees. Culture encompasses many aspects such as organizational structure, decision making processes, management style and how objectives are met. It reflects a company’s core values which inform how employees interact with each other and with customers as well. Climate is more of a snapshot into what it feels like to work for a particular company at any given time which can include factors such as job satisfaction, stress levels or office morale. This type of information provides insight into areas of improvement needed in order to create a positive environment where staff feel valued and motivated enough to perform their best.
