If you see a fellow nurse being bullied, it is your responsibility to speak up and take action. Additionally, new nurses who are being bullied should reach out for help from trusted coworkers, supervisors, or HR professionals. It is also beneficial for them to document any incidents of bullying so they have evidence if they need to pursue further legal action. Finally, they should remember that no one deserves to be treated poorly and that there are resources available specifically designed to assist those affected by workplace bullying.
