The characteristics of an effective leader include:
1. Visionary- a leader should have the ability to articulate a clear and achievable vision.
2. Charismatic- leaders should be able to inspire others and motivate them to achieve their goals.
3. Decision Maker- leaders must be decisive, making tough decisions when needed in order to keep the organization on track and moving forward.
4. Empathetic- Leaders need to demonstrate empathy for their team members by understanding different perspectives, listening actively and providing support when needed .
5. Self Aware- Leaders should strive for self awareness so that they can identify areas of growth or improvement as well as strengths that can be used in developing strategies for success.
6.. Accountable– Leaders must hold themselves accountable for both successes & failures which will help instill trust within their teams & contribute to long term organizational objectives.
