The memo could have strengthened its argument by providing more evidence and research to back up the claims made within it. Additionally, more concrete examples of successful communication strategies should have been included as this would help demonstrate how such changes can be implemented successfully. The memo also could’ve provided suggestions for how to foster a positive work environment between colleagues, rather than just outlining the negative aspects that need to be addressed. This can be done through recognizing each other’s successes, providing constructive feedback and encouragement, regularly setting aside time for meaningful conversations with one another etc. Finally, the memo should have concluded with an action plan that outlines what steps need to be taken in order to achieve the desired outcome of better communication within the workplace.
