Why did you and your preceptor decide that this is a needed change? How will this change occur? 

My preceptor and I decided that this change was necessary due to the rising number of cases in our department. We determined that implementing new policies and protocols would help us better manage patient care and prevent further spread of the virus. This change will involve creating a framework for staff on appropriate safety precautions such as wearing personal protective equipment, proper hygiene practices, social distancing measures, and how to respond to potential exposures or contact tracing. Additionally, we plan to communicate any changes or updates promptly so that everyone can stay informed on best practices at all times.
