The probability distribution for the number of Hondas in a sample of three cars chosen from the top nine can be determined by using binomial distributions. The probability of each car being a Honda is 3/9 and the probability of it not being a Honda is 6/9. The possible outcomes are 0,1,2 or 3 so the probabilities are as follows;
P(0) = (6/9)^3
P(1)= 3*(6/9)^2 * (3/9)
P(2)= 3*(6/9)* (3/9)^2
P(3 )= (3/ 9 ) ^3
