I have decided to do this research project in order to gain a better understanding of the management dilemma facing businesses today. This problem is primarily concerned with how organizations can effectively manage their resources in order to maximize efficiency and minimize costs. My research question revolves around the concept of resource management strategies, specifically examining which tactics are most effective and why. My hypothesis is that strategic partnerships between businesses or outsourcing certain tasks can lead to increased efficiency within an organization, resulting in improved profitability and reduced costs.

Through my research I have found numerous scholarly articles on similar topics available through the Ashford University Library. These studies focus on various aspects of resource management including strategic alliances, outsourcing models, cost reduction strategies and organizational performance optimization techniques. In particular, one study conducted by Anderson et al (2018) examines different approaches for optimizing organizational operations while maintaining cost effectiveness and efficacy as measured by customer satisfaction scores. The results showed that establishing key partnerships between firms leads to operational improvements while reducing overall costs associated with production processes.
