The results from my Work Environment Assessment showed that, overall, I have a supportive work environment. My coworkers are collaborative and friendly and the feedback I receive is constructive. My supervisors provide guidance when needed but respect my independence. The organization values professional development, which I appreciate.

Two things that surprised me about the results were how highly rated our communication style was and how many flexibility options there are available to us within our roles at the company. In terms of communications style, we have open conversation channels between departments to ensure everyone is up-to-date on relevant topics or decisions made by other teams, which I did not realize before taking the assessment but found to be quite useful once it was highlighted in this assessment. Additionally, regarding flexibility options – I know it’s fairly common for employees to choose their working hours as long as necessary conditions for producing good quality work are met; however, what surprised me here was that there were also several opportunities for remote working through virtual meetings and programs available at the company whenever certain duties require it.

One of my ideas confirmed by this assessment had been related with having clear expectations set out both from myself towards my role/tasks completion but also from my superiors towards overseeing/reviewing progress effectively; This had been done consistently across all levels within the office setting so far during tasks assignments/discussions etc., making sure most key outcomes have been achieved successfully each time following such conversations interactions where possible (no matter if they require physical presence or can be conducted virtually.
