My reflective journal for this course has been an invaluable tool for my personal and professional growth as I have navigated through the topics of healthcare, leadership, and inquiry. In looking back over my reflections throughout the course, there are many areas that I can appreciate having learned more about both on a theoretical level as well as how they apply to current practice.

First, this course provided me with new approaches to professional practice. By studying various models of care such as systems thinking, inter-professional collaboration, evidence-based medicine and patient-centered care, I acquired a more comprehensive approach to providing high quality healthcare services. It is important not only to understand these concepts but also be able to implement them into one’s own practice setting in order to achieve optimal health outcomes for patients.

Another area discussed in the class was ethical considerations within healthcare delivery systems. There are numerous moral issues pertaining particularly to vulnerable populations that require thoughtful consideration when making decisions regarding their care plans or treatments options offered by providers or facilities. Different ethical theories provide frameworks for understanding what decision might be most appropriate given a certain situation; however ultimately it is up to each individual provider or organization leader to decide which action will result in maximizing positive outcomes while minimizing harm whenever possible.

The role of technology has made it increasingly easier for providers and organizations alike to collect data from different sources in order optimize performance standards within healthcare settings based on objective metrics rather than anecdotal accounts used previously in history(Puustinen et al., 2020). Big Data analytics enables researchers gain insights into population health concerns across variables such as geography or socio economic status that were previously unavailable (Hernández Gonzalez 2018). This allows policy makers create more equitable policies amongst varying demographic backgrounds therefore reducing disparities among those who do not have access due financial reasons amongst others (Cuesta Fernández & Porcu 2019). Finally implementing a viable leadership model that can effectively manage complex organizational structure plays key role ensuring timely response changing demands within industry(Chaboyer&McKay2009). Understanding principles of effective management tools allow professionals rise beyond challenges face promote innovation better responses needs customers thereby improving overall performance business(Barsadeetal2012) .

As part of this practicum experience we were tasked with meeting competencies established by ACEND standards consequently requiring us conceptualize how our experiences classroom would reflect same service provided CPE residents’ workspace round out proficiencies measured acronym LEAPS Standing Leadership Evidence Achieve Practice Support Guidelines established by accrediting agency.(ACEND2020)One example detail way did throughout program coordinating each immersion sessions home base duties close project checklist make sure proper procedure taken place prior closure curriculum document case conferences held when necessary completed using Google Form platform ensure faculties signatures present approve documents accordingly wrapped local giving attending faculty opportunity signoff via email .At conclusion Clinical rotations consensus met basis previous interaction told residencies passed successfully completing acquisition knowledge thoroughness job observed applied environment simulated team member position offering suggestions problem solving solutions variety settings seen field through Critical Incident Analysis process automated completion reports acknowledging domains covered therein achieving goals expected all participants learner perspective benefit future endeavors going forward . All ways demonstrated successful application LEAPS “competency tracking form” needed measure progress acceptable rate completion.(ACEND2020)

In summary ,this Professional Capstone Practicum Course had tremendous impact upon expertise gained life lived career development processes already underway looking promising although stay tuned outcome continuation journey called life undoubtedly remain exited witness unfold time continued dedication learning perseverance resolve foreshadow clearly visible horizon up ahead self determination feel free open doors appreciation every lesson experienced thus far thanks next adventures come along side until then thank generously courage maturity afforded myself wonderful colleagues kind words feedback received peers throughout semester blessings granted entire endeavor always done absolute honor pleasure doing alongside you brave souls sincere gratitude joy allowed share days together may brightest path await your feet footsteps guiding way ever move forth never know true definition success until Journey traveled thereof indeed blessing matter what lay ahead yours
